We know that praying is just talking and listening to You. Thank You for reminding us that You are always ready to listen and help us.

Your Word says, "The Lord is near to all who call on him" (Ps. 145:18)

Thank You, Father, for never being too busy or making us wait while You listen to someone else.

Thank You for listening to us when we're happy, grateful, sad, angry, or in any kind of trouble.

Your Words says, "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me" (Ps. 50:15)

Thank You, Heavenly Father, that You will answer our prayer for wisdom if we're having a hard time  making a decision.

Your Word says, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" (Jer. 33:3)

Thank You so much, Father, that we can just talk!

Lord, I come to You in Jesus' name and give (name of child) to You. I am convinced that You alone know what is best for him (her).

You alone know what he (she) needs. I release him (her) to You to care for and protect, and I commit myself to pray for everything concerning him (her) that I can think of or that You put upon my heart.

Teach me how to pray and guide me in what to pray about. Help me not to impose my own will when I am praying for him (her), but rather enable me to pray that Your will be done in his (her) life. Thank You that I can partner with You in raising him (her) and that I don't have to do it alone.

Lord, I praise You as the God of restoration, for I know You can restore my relationships to complete wholeness.

 Help me to be in unity with others and to be compassionate, loving, tenderhearted, and courteious, "not returning evil for evil." but rather only giving blessings to them (1 Peter 3:8-9).

I praise You as my Creator and recognize that You created all the people with whom I am in relationship.

 You are their heavenly Father just as You are mine. They are my brothers and sisters, and You love and forgive them as You love and forgive me.

You laid down Your life for them as You laid it down for me. Help me to love them as You love me.

Unto You, O Lord, do I bring my life. O my God, I trust in, lean on, rely on, and am confident in You. Let me not be put to shame or [my hope in You] be disappointed; let not my enemies (rejection, hurt, inferiority, unworthiness) triumph over me.

Father, it is written, "For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you  hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord...(Jer.29:11-14)

In the name of Jesus, I always pray and do not turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up).

Father, I am looking for Your plan, Your answer for my life. It is my desire to be married. But, I must be sure in my decision that I am living as You intend and accepting whatever situation You have put me into. According to Your Word, marriage will bring extra problems that I may not need to face at this time in my life.

All the ways of a man or woman are pure in his or her own eyes, but You, Lord weigh the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart). Therfore, I roll my works upon You, [commit and trust them wholly to You; You will cause my thoughts to become agreeable to Your will, and] so shall my plans be established and succeed.

Because You, Lord, are my Shepherd, I have everything I need!

You let me rest in the meadow grass and lead me beside the quiet streams. You give me new stregth. You help  me do what honors You the most.

Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me, guarding, guiding me all the way.

You provide delicious food for me in the presence of my enemies. You have welcomed me as Your guest; my blessings overflow!

Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life, and afterwards I will live with You foreever in Your home.

Lord, I submit myself to You.

 I realize that parenting a child in the way You would have me to is beyond my human abilities.

 I know I need You to help me. I want to partner with You and partake of Your gifts of wisdom, discernment, revelation, and guidance.

 I also need Your strength and patience, along with a generous portion of Your love flowing through me.

Teach me how to love the way You love.

 Where I need to be healed, delivered, changed, matured, or made whole, I invite You to do that in me. Help me to walk in righteousness and integrity before You.

Teach me Your ways, enable me to obey Your commandments and do only what is pleasing in Your sight.

Lord, I worship and praise You as the all-knowing and all-powerful God of the universe.

 You are Immanuel, God with us. Thank You that You are always with me.

  Thank You that Your presence frees me from all doubts and gives me increased faith.

 Thank You that You hear my prayers and will answer in Your time and in Your way.

You, Lord, are without limitations. I don't to limit Your working in my life by my own faithlessness.

 Help me to "be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" (Romans 12:12 NIV).

I know that You have called me to pray, but I also know that answering prayers is Your job.

Help my heart to rest in You.

Father, I realize my helplessness in saving myself, and I glory in what Christ Jesus has done for me. I let go-put aside all past sources of my confidence-counting them worth less than nothing, in order that I may experience Christ and become one with Him.

Lord, I have received Your Son, and He has given me the authority (power, privilege, and right) to become Your child.

I unfold my past and put into proper perspective those things that are behind. I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but  Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God. Who loved me and gave Himself for me. I trust in You, Lord, with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge You, and You will make my paths straight.

I want to know Christ and the power of His ressurection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. So, whatever it takes, I will be one who lives in the fresh newness of life of those who are alive from the dead.

I don't mean to say that I am perfect. I haven't learned all I should even yet, but I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ saved me for and wants me to be.

I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: regardless of my past I look forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which You are calling me up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for me.

Lord, I thank You  that You have called me with a holy calling, not according to my works, but according to Your purpose and grace which was given to me in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 1:9). I know that Your plan for me existed before I knew You, and You will bring it to pass. Help me to "walk worthy of the calling with which (I was) called "(Ephesian 4:1).I know there is an appointed plan for me, and I have a destiny that will now be fulfilled.

Help me to live my life with a sense of purpose and understanding of the calling You have given me. I lay down all pride, selfishness, and anything else that would keep me from moving into all You have for me. I don't want  to miss out  on Your full purpose for my life because I did not walk the way You wanted me to. I repent of every day I haven't fully lived for You. Help me to live the way You want me to from now on.

Lord, help me to understand the call You have on my life. Take away any discouragement I may feel and replace it with joyful anticipation of what You are going to do through me. Use me as Your instrument to make a positive diffence in the lives of those whom You put in my path. Help me to rest in the confidnce of knowing that YOur timing is perfect. I know that whatever You have called me to do, You will enable me to do it.

I pray that nothing will draw me away from ful-filling the plan You have for me. May I never stray from what You have called me to be and do. Give me a vision for my life and a strong sense of purpose. I put my identity in You and my destiny in Your hands. Show me if what I am doing now is what I am supposed to be doing. I want what You  are building in my life to last for eternity. I don't want to waste time going after things that are not what You have for me. Help me to be content where I am, knowing You won't leave me there forever.

Lord, I know that "all things work together for good" to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). I don't want to presume that I know what that purpose is. Nor do I want to spend a lifetime trying to figure out what I am suppose to be doing and miss the mark.

So, I pray that You would show me clearly what the gifts and talents are that You have placed in me. Lead me in the way I should go as I grow in them. Enable me to use them according to Your will and for Your glory.
